Last month’s 10th anniversary SpotLAX event was one for the ages. We had our best turnout ever, and many attendees remarked that this was the best SpotLAX they had been to. New for this year was a rooftop spotting party at the H Hotel Los Angeles that saw nearly 200 people attend, easily our largest gathering of all time.
Today, we’re thrilled to announce the dates for next year’s SpotLAX event. #SpotLAX2024 will take place September 13-15th 2024. It will be a fun filled weekend as we once again descend on Los Angeles International Airport for our annual plane spotting weekend.
Once again, we’ve teamed up with Crankyflier’s Brett Snyder so that SpotLAX and Cranky Dorkfest will be held the same weekend. Cranky Dorkfest will be held on Saturday, September 14th beginning at 11:00am at the park across from In-N-Out at the end of LAX’s Runway 24R. You can find out more about that event here.
We’ll have lots more info to share in the coming months. We’re already working with the H Hotel to plan next year’s room block and spotting party. Expect those details to be announced in the spring.
