    Saturday Spotting Anyone?

The WX doesn't look to bad this coming Sat. I was thinking of doing some HoBe stuff if they are on the 31s or perhaps some Plainview Park/31 arrivals. I'm really in the mood for some Hobe banks.

I haven't been out in a while so I think I'd be game for a day at JFK. Looks like it's gonna be a windy one.

    sorry, wrong thread
The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".

There is an outside chance I might join you Tommy. I do have to be somewhere later that day, but I haven't shot the "big birds" in far too long.

...change in schedule. I can't be two places at once, so I will have to forego this opportunity.

I'll be out as well at Howard Beach in the morning. Forecast calls for clear day with strong winds from the WNW.

Runway config sucks this morning at JFK...not going out unless they change to 31s.

and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

And change to the 31s they did. I have no idea why they went from the 31s to the 22s with winds at 290/300 but they did. I foolishly spent some time in North Woodmere Park (and I survived the frigid cold!) before they changed, then headed over to Firestone for a bit before I decided I'd seen enough JetBlue and went home. Nothing particularly interesting trafficwise, but photos to come later anyway.
