My last day of spotting for 2008 was spent at SFO enjoying a rather foggy morning and a gorgeous afternoon. All pictures were taken from the Terminal 2 AirTrain station in the left hand corner which is an open aired space with no glass. SFO is famous for its parallel landings and take offs which can be photographed from a park in the bay however a lens over 400mm is needed. The heavies tend to use runway 28L/R for departures while the domestic flights use 1R/L. In the later afternoon the Euro heavies started to use the 1's which resulted in no shots for me but considering JFK is a Euro capital, I lived.
Enjoy and happy new year!
