    Statues on Parade

I am having fun running around Manhattan snapping photos of the 42 Statues on Parade. These are statues ressembling the Statue of Liberty. Each is beautifully painted for a baseball team using the team colors. Some even have the mascot painted-on. It's nice to photograph something for a change where you don't have to worry about security or showing an ID. Try to go on a cloudy day as the sun makes deep shadows on the designs. Most are outside but some are inside. The Statue by the NY Stock Exchange cannot be accessed as it's behind the security fence so you'll have to use zoom.

Any idea where the Mets one is? I know there's a Yankees one in front of Time Warner Center.

    Nevermind, I found a map: http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/events/all_star/ ... de_map.pdf

Mets is at Penn Station. Yanks have two, at Modell's on 42nd by Grand Central, and at their 5th Ave clubhouse shop.

I guess the one at Time Warner isn't Yankees, just Yankees colors.
