I'm sure some of the Delta Fans and Delta Special color trackers would find this intresting.
Delta Connection Academy Celebrated a new Building on Campus that holds many more classrooms Media rooms and Sim halls and al kinds of other snazzy things. It was quite impressive.
Delta flew in Pink Delta (N610DL) for the festivities. I went tyo SFB to see what Delta arrived then I heard about all of this Celabratory stuff. Several hundred people showed up. Everyone from the Mayor of Sanford to the airport Manager and gave their little speeches. There was also a mini airshows with the flightschools SECOND new Extra300 aircraft. Upon departing SFB The Pink Delta treated us do a flyby before heading back to ATL. Although I am not a Big fan of special colors especially Delta's It was nice to get a chance to board N610DL for a second time. First time was JFK-MCO in March when I was in NY for the A380.
I wasn't aware that the approach was doing to be as low as it was and I didn't even know where was going to be a flyby until someone told me as I was walking away. So I screwed up the shots.
Its too bad they didn't have this building ready when I was attending the school. The only thing I got of of ti was a lost spot to take pictures at.
