    Aircraft Spotting at Dublin Airport

    Greetings,

Have any of you spotted/photographed aircraft at Dublin Airport in recent times?

What should the first-time visitor be aware of on arrival in terms of aircraft visibility ... timing ... security ... etc?

What about Shannon Airport ... where we're be departing for home?

Details ... suggestions ... etc ... welcomed. Thanks.

I've been through Shannon quite a few times. I've seen spotters taking pictures of my plane while taxiiing, and photography seems to be allowed inside the terminals, too.

From inside the terminal, you'll actually have a decent view of everything, and you can get pics of aircraft that taxi by. Almost any window will do.

Expect to see Futura, Ryannair, Aer Lingus, CO, US, AA, and perhaps you will get lucky and see some more common special visitors inthe form of Omni, USAF aircraft (like C40s or C32s) AN-125s, and a couple other Euro LCCs and small airlines that I'm not too familiar with.
