    JFK tomorrow Dec 2

    Hi All,

Who is going to JFK this coming Saturday? I'm flying in on Jetblue from IAD. I'm arriving shortly before 8am and going back to DC at 6pm.
The weather supposed to be great. Anybody?

    Rafal :)

Unfortunately, the only car I have available (my girlfriend's) is registered in New York, and the inspection is expired (and has been for a while, actually). Since I'd prefer to avoid being pulled over for it, I've been avoiding trips to NY of late, which limits the amount of spotting I can do. (NJ is still fair game, and rather than lose a great-weather day, I'll be out railfanning and might head over to SMQ or back down to N87 for a bit to check things out.)

    Spotting At JFK 12/2/06

    Hello.

I am new here, but have been spotting and photographing planes off and on for a few years now. I have been out twice since I have moved to NYC and would love to go to JFK to see some international planes. I do not have a car, so I was just wondering how and where do people meet up? I might be interested in going out this Saturday to JFK or for sure next weekend. Any information would be quite helpful. Thanks!

    Hi there brontis5, welcome!

Check out the spotting maps we have on the homepage:
    http://nycaviation.com/jfkspotting
    http://nycaviation.com/lgaspotting

There is all kinds of useful information there, including public transporation for some spots. LGA is much easier to access without a car.

Sounds like they are using 31R for arrivals right now.

I didn't see anyone at Costco, I actually went unexpectedly. This is what I got:

Notice the B6 A320 passing in the distance near the rudder.

Nice shots, AirbusA350XWB .... perfect day for the moon shots I see... Is the Mexicana a 318? It was supposed to be... If so, I can barely tell them apart from 319s.

Thanks Tom. It's an A319, it can be hard to tell from this angle sometimes. I sure had some audience while taking her picture...
