Taipei, Singapore & Kuala Kumpur 11/4 thru 11/19

    Hello,
After last year at LAX/LAS & Nellis Air Show, I have changed plans a bit and am taking a diversion to Asia. I am flying free ( AA Miles ) but anyone would be interested in joining the trip, do contact me. Plan is to spend 4 days at each city......(what else) spotting from sun up till sun down. Decided to skip Japan altogether as did not want 2 days in each city.

PS: With fall upon us, I probably will be by at Kennedy / LGA in Oct to 'tune up' the Canons. hope to run into some of you.
Hey Tom...any chance I'll run into you @ Taipei

    Hey Raj,

Hope all goes well for you in TPE. We can talk more about Taipei when I'm in New York just prior to you leaving if you like.

    Day 2... what a roller coaster :)
Get to airport by 7am.... no sun..(think the NY guys have tied it down over Canarasi :) So get few shots and get all peed off and change my flight & hotel and decided to go Kaula Lumpur 2 days early. As I get back to hotel... its nothing but sun

So hop into taxi and get back by 1pm and here are few .... I stuck it out until almost 7:30pm (sun was in and out and haze a bit better)

Vietnam time... 2 flights back to back...

"Chiang Mai" always follows me whereever I go...been seeing her since 90's. Here she is in new colors and special sticker.

Pakistani time... and the tails are just georgeous. This one parked right next to terminal 8)

Afternoon brought 3 AI flights... this one is "Rajasthani" colors...

And just before I left... I tried few clicks without tripod.

After finding out that the "whale" will visit WSSS, changed the itinery a bit and well, we arrived hotel in WSSS @ 12:20. After barely 5 hours sleep, we go to Coastal Road (the db fence is coming up fairly fast :( ).
And as promised the A380 showed on Inner Marker @ 9:58am, landed on 02L and then taxied by T1 and to its gate. Here are few shots...

    I love bonus surprises :)

SE Asia Trip winding down... :(
I could not have asked for better timing... A380 was great and I think for me the Changi Coast Road was the key too... as you all know by now, it will be pretty soon history.

Heres few for last 36 hours....

    Tales of cities.....

    Jonathan's flight back to KL....

    Changi at its best.... :)

Ahh and finally the beast.... on approach and on taxiway....(this was his second trip in same week!)

Amazing pics. The kind of stuff most of us could only dream of seeing, much less shooting.

Chiang Mai has been at JFK a couple times this week, gorgeous decal.
