RJ has been flying there for years Sergio. I'm still not used to seeing a DTW set without the old bowling shoe NW schemes.

about a year or so ago we had a Volga/Dnepr IL-76M pass through, that was fairly exotic, Willow Run but 8 miles away boasts freightdog 727s,DC9s(baby9s too !!!),still active, plus a few stretch 8s in dry dock,in the summers the Yankee Air Force's B17,B25,and C47 and Jack Rousch's P51s ,cavort there!!!
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!
Nice set!
My folks live in London, ON so I've often pondered heading across to do some spotting.
Any idea what happened to http://www.detroitspotters.com/ ?
That site hasn't been active in a while, if you want the low down on spotting locations I suggest you check out: http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...d.php?t=800980. It has all of the best spots along with the best times to be there. Of course if you decide to stop by send me a message and who knows, maybe I'll be able to get on out there. Just be prepared for A LOT of Delta and Pinnacle![]()
