After failing to auction the remnants of the Airbus A320 fuselage (N106US) that splashed down into the Hudson River in January 2009, US Airways and their insurance company agreed to donate the plane to the Carolinas Aviation Museum. Within the confines of Charlotte/Douglas International Airport—the home of US Airways—the plane will soon be open for viewing to museum visitors. NBC New York got a sneak peek inside.
