Air Namibia on Monday announced it has placed an order for two Airbus aircraft to replace the two Boeing 737-500s currently in its fleet. The deal is valued at approximately $161 million at list prices.
V Australia is said to be coming up on announcing a big aircraft order, among them 777-200LRs which would allow them nonstop service from Sydney to JFK and also Perth to London Heathrow (LHR).
An unoccupied sailboat broke free of its mooring in Boston Monday morning, running aground next to Logan Airport's runway 9/27 and causing delays as the runway had to be closed, the airport said.
