Air Namibia on Monday announced it has placed an order for two Airbus aircraft to replace the two Boeing 737-500s currently in its fleet. The deal is valued at approximately $161 million at list prices.
Japan Airlines will take delivery of its first Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner on Sunday, March 25, and will fly it to Tokyo the following day, the airline announced on Wednesday.
Southwest Airlines grounded more than 80 aircraft early Saturday after one of its planes experienced an in-flight fuselage rupture on Friday, the airline said.
