Hawaiian Airlines announced Wednesday that it would launch daily nonstop service between Honolulu and New York's JFK International Airport in June 2012.
American Eagle starts nonstop flights between Chicago and Tri-Cities with an ERJ-140, and also on La Guardia to Atlanta with CRJ-700s, which is a new aircraft type for LGA.
On Friday, Boeing and Cathay Pacific announced an order for 21 of the manufacturers new 777-9X aircraft. With the order, Cathay Pacific becomes the first airline in Asia to order the new type.
