The FAA is seeking to fine Evergreen International Airlines over $4m for allowing pilots to operate aircraft on commercial operations with incorrect training.
On Friday, Boeing and Cathay Pacific announced an order for 21 of the manufacturers new 777-9X aircraft. With the order, Cathay Pacific becomes the first airline in Asia to order the new type.
China is expected to become the world's number two plane market as it will require some 5,000 new commercial airplanes valued at $600 billion over the 20 years, Boeing projected on Wednesday.
