    KPAE 2-17-13 [Image Heavy]

Went to AirlineReporter.com's Aviation Geek Fest in Seattle this weekend. Took an amazing tour of the 737 factory, which is not normally open to the public. Also took a VIP tour of the Everett 767/747/787 factory. Sadly, no photos allowed in there. Instead, I bring you a few shots of Paine Field from the Future of Flight.

    Many, many parked 787s

Coming back on its B1 flight, RAT extended

    Go-around crossing shot!

    Brand spankin new

An American 737 at Paine Field? That's just confusing. It isn't new, as it came in from ORD

    Nice haul!

Hope everyone respected Boeing's rules on cameras! What a treat.

For the Everett tour, Boeing even collected everyones cell phones before the start. They did not do that at the 737 tour, oddly.

Looks like you had terrific weather... and I AM NOT kidding. Last three years I have been in Seattle it has been almost pouring raining around the clock. Last time, yes, I did have about a half here or there where the sun came out... but normally, cloudy and rainy. That gorgeous scenery needs a lot of water I guess.

Nice catches, especially those nice green 777s ;-)

It wasn't raining during most of out time there, which is amazing. Of course, the best weather always occurred when we went inside for the factory tours with no cameras.

Nice shots! They really bring back memories of my visit out there a couple years ago. Seems like there was more activity for you then I remember there being when I was there. As for the weather, the only sunny morning that we had the whole week was the morning we went to PAE, though of course it got cloudy later in the day. So you really lucked out!
