LSZH (Zürich) 26-01-2013
Hello everybody,
I flew back from Zürich last Sunday, but already during the flight home, I was struck by the flue, meaning I spend most of my time of the last few days in bed. But, feeling almost well again, time to get my mind on something else.
Let's start with the pictures from the spectators terrace on a cloudy Friday morning.
1. One of the many Gulf V's, but this one was Air Canada-style blue:

2. A new type for me on photo; a Gulf 650! Great looking planes:

3. Shortly thereafter followed by another!

4. Smokey engine start-up of this ERJ190 of KLM Cityhopper:

5. This nice Moroccan Falcon departed, enabling to take a better picture of it than the day before:

6. One of the few private helicopters that came in range:

9. Just before leaving the terrace to join the Buchair WEF platform-tour, this nice baby taxied by:

The platform tour, arranged by Buchair, took about two hours and during those two hours the sun broke through for some nice sunny winter pictures.
1. We started at the SR Technics, where two A330-200s from Kingfisher are stored:

2. And the other one:

3. This very nice JASDF B747-400 was also parked there:

4. Next stop was a ride near runway 10-28, where a lot of general aviation planes could be found, like this red PC-12:

5. As well this Polish one:

6. One of the more exotic visitors was this Korean Gulf V:

7. We were transported to the E-dock and let out on the platform, near the exits for runway 14, which was in use for landings. Nice Citation taxiing by:

8. Very nice Swedish AF Gulf:

9. Nice surprise, return of the Philippines A340:

10. Don't see them often, private A320s:

11. Head on with a Qatar A330:

12. Then on to the W-stands, which are the stands straight opposite the spectators terrace. Some nice planes could be photographed up-close, like this Mexican Navy Gulfstream:

13. And this C-40B:

14. And the white C-40C:

15. It was then again to the maintenance area, where this "new" SAS A320 could be photographed:

16. The tour ended with this very nice Connie. Does she has Dutch props now? Too bad the tail wasn't there. Hope she will fly soon!
