JFK 6-4-12 [Lufthansa A380 Low Pass]

Air Force One forced some odd movement today, and the Lufthansa A380 was directed to turn heading 100 as soon as possible after a runway 4L departure, which put it directly over my house. Not quite as low at the Korean that time, but still awesome!

For an aircraft that large it might has well have gone through your living room. Great photos!
I live in Rockaway Park and when the weather gets snotty and it's a low ceiling every so often I swear one's coming through my ceiling. Unfortunately it only happens when the weather's really bad or I'd scramble to get some photos.

Interestingly, the A380 is a ether quiet aircraft, so it really sneaks up on me when it comes this way. But under the right conditions, they come right overhead. It's the pesky CRJs that make the most noise.
