I went out to Bayswater with David Abbey from Twitter today. As we got there, a wall of fog rolled in for a little while. It lasted a little while and then cleared out very nicely.

Thank you! It was really weird how quickly visibility went down to nothing, and then shot right back up to normal. Made for some great shots though.
Sure did...I think between the fog and the late rotation it really shows the size of the plane. I've seen sea fog roll in within a matter of minutes...one minute at Nantucket it's clear, five minutes later and it's down to almost 0/0. Absolutely bizarre to see but really really neat.

Right after the fog rolled in, a Delta 744 took off runway 13R following the KA380. We only saw the shadow inside the fog, never saw the aircraft itself. It was bizare.
Jason, not sure why I even bothered going out to Spot with you today, as these photos are much better than what I saw with the naked eye. Good hanging out with you. Not such a good day for that fish in the last photo. Definitely the nice variety of planes that JFK often yields.
