Nice shots. I was on the VX flight. Were you guys standing next to a black car? I saw some spotters when we were on final.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Matt is in the window seat right in front of the first wing emergency exit window ;-) If someone has a closeup shot in high res, you should be able to zoom in and see him filming

Amazing how Philly goes from no new airlines to 2 new airlines this year as Alaska will be sending it first flight there in June.

Ah, but if you count the impending loss of Air Tran, the transfer of the USA3000 charters over to Frontier, and the loss of Air France 3 years ago, we've actually lost more than we've gained

Well, USAir and Southwest kicking ass between domestic airports, it is far more cost effective for AF and the others to just fly to some big edge hub and let the locals handle the connections. Unless there is a huge demand for non-stop flying for more money, it just makes business sense.

So true, and who wants to look at their dirty-a** planes anyway
