    JFK 2/17/12

Headed out for a little bit this afternoon. Started at Panera for some arrivals, and ran into Gordon (and Gordon) there.

I didn't know (or forgot) that AA had bent-wing 767s.

Delta 764 with American Cancer Society "Relay for Life" markings.

After the typical late afternoon switch to 22L (even though the winds were still 310 at 10+ kts) we headed over to The Mounds and ran into Mark Z.

I'm sure the new view from The Mounds will become old hat - or the weeds will grow back - but for now, I'm loving the angle!

Great shots. I was trying to make it to the mounds, but I was coming from brooklyn and the traffic on the Belt was a killer.

Traffic, in Brooklyn or Queens? No Way!

Nice images Moose... never saw that Delta sticker before... should pay more attention...

I arrived into JFK earlier this morning for the long weekend and took advantage of the nice weather for some very missed JFK spotting. It was a pleasure to see Moose and Mark and to get a chance to try out the "new" mounds, certainly makes quite the difference!

As to not duplicate shots, here are some additional catches from today:

Some nice grabs Gordon!!! Especially the TNT, and the Altas 747 (I believe that's the passenger one). Here are just some of the one I got a chance to off load.

Used a fast shutter speed and modified the white-balance and gave it a little extra saturation.

Manny....I've seen this Delta a few times.
