Recently I gave some spotting tips to a forum member for Taipei, and decided to make a map from it.

Awesome catches Mark...........Spotting location B looks crazy, and the fence looks very short.
Thank you for this, Mark! Should be rather helpful if I have time to do some spotting while I'm in Taiwan in January. Question, how does one get to location A?
Unfortunately I'm not familiar with transportation at all. When I went, I took a bus from Taipei to about a mile from A, then walked the mile to the cafe. I had to walk the mile back to catch the bus at night, and it's not the best place to walk around at night.
However, you can get directions for public transportation on Google Maps.
Do check out Songshan...domestic airfield.... new spotting terrace opened

Oh, that's right, I do remember hearing about the new observation deck. The last photo is from Location C though.
Because of new laws/regulations, Songshan now has direct flights to mainland China and Japan, which has in turn, brought the A330 and 767.
