Shooting on a tripod

Has anyone ever used a tripod in the parking lot of Panera when spotting at JFK? People will call the Police regardless of the situation but just wondering if anyone have tried using a tripod.

I've never tried using a tripod or monopod at Panera. The only place I have used my monopod around JFK is at bayswater and at the mounds. The angle that the planes are at above your head at panera would make this rather difficult in my opinion.
