I had the opportunity to spend the entire weekend camping out and attending the World Series of Speedway Racing at the Thompson International Speedway in Thompson, CT. Thompson is a 5/8 mile high banked oval track in Northeast Connecticut. Every year they hold a three day racing event that hosts 16 different divisions. It was a great two days of racing, especially since the Tour Modifieds and the ISMA Super Modifieds attended. Having purchased a pit pass made the weekend all the more better. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the weekend.

Thanks Mike. No, this isn't the race I had questions about. I actually was informed about this after asking that question. These photos in my mind are actually better than the shots I was getting requests for at the other track. I think that is in most part due to the position of the track and how it is lit by the sun and the fact that I can sit lower in teh stands at this track and still see over the fence which allows for better angles to be shot.
