    QuikSilver Pro NY Final Day

This past week I think I became a surfing fan. Today was amazing. The waves were huge, the surfing was incredible.

Kelly Slater up in the air about to score a perfect 10

and the winner of the tournament Owen Wright

Really good work, Eric! I've really enjoyed all your shots from the competition.

Thanks moose, it was a lot of fun to shoot and its something we just don't see here on the East Coast often. Light conditions were tough so you just have to be creative.

Loved your coverage of the event, Eric.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

I love the processing on #6. The contrasty bluish-black gives the photo exactly what it needs. It lets the amazing detail come out and makes the subject pop. Wall-worthy IMO.
