    BDL 7/2/2011

Was up in Mass for a majority of the day and had some time to kill on the way home, so naturally when I saw the sign on I-91 for Bradley Intl I the truck turned onto the exit ramp. I was only there for about 40 mins, but still grabbed a few shots.

    Hey Steve,

I'm just curious. Which runway did you took photos of the airplanes at BDL? Thanks!

John, they were using Runway 6. I got to what used to be the official observation area to see that it was closed. It appeared that someone had knocked over some of the cones and taken down half the rope that had it closed off, but I wasn't about to go in there since there were private property and no trespassing signs all over the entrance. So I went across the street to Walnut Drive. About 100 feet after you turn onto that road from Rte 20 there is a little dirt pull-off. I just parked there for about 40 mins. I wouldn't recommend parking there for long periods of time though.

Kaz - Thanks buddy!! If you have some time after Lime Rock on Saturday, maybe I'll show you around KBDL. By the time we get out of the track we could make it there for the evening rush.
