    Nikon MB-D200 Battery Door Issue

whoever has the MB-D200 knows the detentes that hold the batteries in are rather flimsy. the ones for both of the batteries are now broken and i'm worried that the latch for the door is gonna go eventually. anyone know if those are replaceable or if nikon covers them? it's amazing i only think of these things at 'o-dark thirty.

Mine broke Lord knows how long ago. Ever since a nice piece of shipping tape holds my door snug. Not worth trying to fix it I checked. Would try to find a new one but I am buying a new Body probably next year so it will be my backup.

Mine broke too. Try gaffers tape, works great. I still use the D200 as a backup.

OMG that is the world's greatest web site for photo geeks! LOL. Mark, I am in heaven. I already bought like 25 items hahaha. The little covers for the multi-pin remote connector and PC flash sync alone are worth it.

    Thank you!

Nick, Indeed if Nikon does NOT release a worthy 18-21MP mid range camera or a Pro Level Crop (DX) sensor camera with higher than 18MP, I will either buy a D3X or a Canon 7D and a 400mm f/5.6 L lens ;-)
