Very nice! I'll have to watch for them in the future. Looking at the jet, that day-glo marking in front of the L2 door almost looks like it was added in Photoshop

Yes I noticed that on Sunday. Nice exposures there Eric.

I had also not seen ANA during light hours

it is really a shame that 22L has all those obstructions from the perimeter fence to the dune/berm on the right and the radar tower, equipment shacks. Only a small window of opportunity and even then your wheels are behind the fence.

Dunno why Kennedy does not embrace spotters like other airports have done... like the holes in MIA or the use of the parking lots with spotting areas like Ft. Lauderdale. Anyway, we can hope :-)

ANA is always in daylight hours

Asiana used to come in around 9PM and depart at 12:05AM and now it comes in around 9:30AM and departs at 1PM

I believe you re: ANA :-) It's just that I was never privileged... I am still not privileged on either while in flight. This is the first time I catch them on the runway. I typically see the tail parked near RWY 31L but that's been about it.
