I had to take a family member to JFK yesterday and decided that if the sun was still out (sunset 6:15p) when I finished, I would swing by one of the spots and get some shots. I figured 31L takeoffs would give me nice sunset lighting. It was a challenge as there were still some clouds. These are practice since I am off my game shooting jets at an airport it seems LOL. No sooner than arriving at HoBe, they switched to 22s for arrivals and primary departures.
