Blast From the Past: JFK 8-3-08

Well, a blast from the past for me, at least. Buried deep in the nether regions of my photo backup hard drive, I dug this folder out today, and I was shocked at the types of aircraft I had caught and didn't even know it.

As far as I can remember, this was my first time ever spotting at Kennedy, and the first time spotting with my SLR, and also my first time at Bayswater.

I had no clue that I had a shot of an AA A300.

My first shot of Wunala; the next time I see her after this would be almost two years later.

Oh man. Amazing that this was only two years ago and the only airplanes that still visit JFK are the Austrian 76 and the Swiss 330. Nice grabs man.

Crazy, seems so long ago that Malev left. On the bright side, Emirates A380 will be back in about 6 weeks.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
