Had some time this afternoon, and with JFK landing 31L/R, I headed over to Firestone. Spent close to two hours out there, first time I've been out in a while.
First time I've caught the Alitalia A330
Another first for me - China Eastern A340
And the surprises kept coming - I didn't know Aeroflot was sporting Skyteam colors!
And yes, one more new one for me...
What a cute little airplane - I forgot how small the A318 looks!
And what would an afternoon at JFK be without a little JetBlue action? I didn't get any new airframes to add to my collection, but did get one in new paint. Checking my spreadsheet, I'm missing 7 of 154 active aircraft (I'm also missing about a dozen they sold off in the past.)
Around 5:30, they switched to Rwy 4. I took a ride over to Bayswater, even though I knew the light wasn't going to work.
I was rewarded with this Turkish 777 - I had no idea they added the Manchester United titles.
