A very interesting route choice for Delta and one that seems directly aimed to compete against Icelandair since Delta is operating the flight from MSP, another Icelandair destination. Icelandair is planning two daily flights between KEF and JFK for summer 2011.
I don't think it will drive Icelandair from the route or anything, though.
