    KSEA 7-6-10

Finally finally finally got some decent weather. Despite being allergy ridden I couldn't resist getting out and doing some shooting. While I went out with trying something new in mind I ended up staying with the tried and true - what can I say, I'm a sucker for the mountain shots:

Periodically I will decide to go to SeaTac to get the EVA 773 hoping for one of the 300ER specials. Every time I get there on time to photograph it, it isn't the special. Every time I'm running 10 minutes late, sure enough there it is at the gate. Tonight was no exception:

Nice shots Jeremy. I was wondering if anyone got the surprise of the day 709 coming in at a much different time then it normally does.

    Nice!

If I had mountains like that to play with, I'd be a sucker for them too!

I didn't know Alaska had a dedicated freighter. How long have they had it? is it a 300, 400?

They used to have a decent number of them, but if I'm right this is the only one left. It's a -400...can't vouch for how long they've had her though and too lazy to search :-)

I think it was 07. It was the firstever 400 coverted total freighter and I think may still be the only one. They have 5 400 combi's now though and the old 200's were all combi's. I don't believe any of them were all cargo and all were combi's.
