    Prince Harry's Aircraft

I understand that Britain's Prince Harry arrived on Friday at West Point and then later went to visit the Intrepid. I was curious about his aircraft and where it was kept. Is it at JFK or at EWR? Which aircraft does he use? He will be at CitiField today supposedly to throw-out the first ball and later to a charity function at Greenwich, CT. On Sunday, he'll play polo on Governor's Island. His mom will soon be coming to to visit NY. What about her aircraft?

His mom is Princess Diana...if she visits, I don't want to know what plane she's arriving on, I'll be hiding under my bed with some anti-zombie gear.

I'm guessing you meant his grandma, Queen Elizabeth, who will be visiting soon.

Prince Harry is pretty low on the VIP totem pole, so I'm guessing he probably flew commercial. I think the Queen will get a chartered jet.

Most likely a British Airways 777-200ER.
Aspires to become an Air Traffic Controller at Kennedy Tower.

According to a thread on Airliners.Net the Queen will be flying a Canadian Air Force A310 to Halifax... Not sure what she will be flying to New York.

Interesting that the UK is one of the few major powers without a dedicated jet for the head of state and the head of govt.

I read today that the Queen will be flying a Porter aircraft for her stops within Canada.

I learned this evening that Prince Harry flew into SWF on a chartered United States BBJ and was then flown in a helicopter down to West Point.

The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".
