    Light at the Mounds

I was just wondering when does the light at the Mounds starting getting good enough to shoot there. April? I know during the winter its useless since its generally nose lit.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about, the light is always good at the mounds. Its not perfect for side on's, but if you want that 3/4 shot with engines lit up then the Winter months are the best. Try it some time.

Eric right but if you want the optimal light it's when the days have the most light mid to late june. Gives the sun chance to get directly behind you and low.

I'm not a local but I'd guess the sun angle would be ok for at least 2 to 3 hours before sunset at that spot, for side-ons.
