George Washington Bridge on a Clear Night

Recently, I saw a nice view of the George Washington Bridge taken by a friend, and on my way back from Manhattan I decided to give the site a shot. I was never told the location, so I had to explore a little until I found the spot. Turns out you have to climb obscure steps that seem to lead into darkness and walk along a snow-covered trail through some dark woods. I took a couple shots, but didn't have a tripod, so it wasn't worth taking more than a few shots or staying for very long. Did I mention that it was incredibly shady?

Here's the HDR i ended up with, made from a compilation of three RAW shots. There was nothing I could do about the stupid tree.

I'll try again when I have a tripod next time.

nice shot! where'd you take it from?
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

There's some sort of park on the Jersey side. You have to walk up some non-descript stairs and take a short path.
