Terrific work, Eric! How are you liking the 7D? Any vices or does it shoot easily and trouble free? The detail and fidelity, even at web sizing, is impressive!

Went out to JFK today with my friends Andrew, Chris, and Andrew's father tagged along as well. It was good seeing Eric as well as meeting Luke and the other guys who were at Firestone (sorry... didn't catch your names). We had two run-ins with law enforcement - once while at Howard Beach and once at Firestone. The one at Howard Beach happened as we were leaving to go to Firestone - saw an NYPD car pull into the parking lot. At least they didn't chase us... and the Firestone visit was from one NCPD officer who rolled up to us and asked Andrew what we were doing. He said we were taking pictures and the officer said okay and left... couldn't have lasted any more than fifteen seconds.
We were at Howard Beach for about an hour and at Firestone for five hours before heading to Inwood Park for the A380. Returned back to Firestone for about twenty minutes before calling it a day and heading home. Got to see the A380 close-up today... that beast is QUIET! It was cold and somewhat breezy but a great day. I do have video from the day but it won't be uploaded for a while, since I want to finish uploading videos from NAS Pensacola. Some of the video looks like crap since my camera has basically malfunctioned numerous times... it will be replaced next spring.

Great work guys!! Excellent angles! Love the new JBU paint scheme and tail. See? I go away, and EVERYONE gets the AF A380... that will be my mission this month! Congrats!

I just notice something, all the AF 380 photos posted here were all taken as it landed on 31L. Is this normally the case as it's closer for it to taxi to its terminal?
The A380 cannot land on 31R, as there would be no wing-room for it to make the turn at the end of the runway.Originally Posted by JZ1

Phil, thanks for the reply. I never realized that 380 can't land on 31R.... you learn something new everyday. Are there similar restrictions on the 22/4 pair?
