Great stuff Eric. It was great seeing everyone again today. Nice to meet Wendy & Mario from Orlando & Rafal from IAD.
Eric covered all the highlights. Here's a few from me, with one that's a little different.

Poor crab :(
The shot with the LGA departure illustrates finely the web of flights that converge in the NY area!
Good shooting.
Beautiful shots all the way around, guys! Very nice!

Wow John great shots! I have always hoped to see a Great Blue Heron in that area but it's always been just Egrets. Nice find!

John, great bird shots and I LOVE the Singapore with the reflection. :borat:
Nick, that Great Blue was popping in and out of the reeds the whole time I was there (1000-1300). He made a few passes down the channel and I finally was waiting for him when he flew by.Originally Posted by NIKV69
Thanks Mel, I wanted to try something different and the water was so still, except where its reflection was. That part I didn't notice until I saw the pics when I got home.Originally Posted by Mellyrose

But what's the deal - you're in NY during UN weekend, and don't show up for a little spotting? That's weak!
