Air France/KLM Ground Entire A330 Fleet?

More to come but due to the continuing issues with pilot tubes, Air France and KLM have decided to ground their entire A330-200 fleet as of today.

EDIT: The article has now been ratified.

Hmm, that site seems to be the only one reporting it. Looking for confirmation.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

There is still some of the A330 fleet in-flight at the moment so theoretically the grounding would take effect once those aircraft arrive in CDG and AMS. Apparently KLM has been concerened with replacing the pilot tubes after an AD was issued by EADS banning the older Thales tubes. The same AD applies to the Air France A340-300 fleet so it's odd they wouldn't be grounded as well.

    Oops...

Rectification following an article earlier today with regard to KLM suspectingly grounding its A330 fleet. Confirmed sources around the airline have told Worldwide-Aviation.net that all Airbus A330 in service of KLM are still in operation. Replacement of the pitot tubes is an ongoing process and it is not expected that this would form a problem maintaining its current flight schedule.

You know if they bought Boeing they wouldn't have these problems ;) hehe Heck if they didn't buy French built speed sensors they wouldn't have this problem. Once again America proves its greatness over Europe! ;)

For anyone looking to joust back at Thomas, just mention "787 delay" and that should suffice.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.
