    Seafair Days 2-4

    Adding new ones by day.

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed by today's shots - plus I didn't think they would be as far out into the lake as they were. I needed more zoom! And better glass/body...which I don't find myself saying very often...

Today more than made up for yesterdays disappointments as I was offered to shoot from the tower! Needless to say, I took it and ran:

nice shots with the blues! they'll be in SNS with me next week. i hope the schedule isn't too busy and i can go shoot from the south side of the field during the show. they don't let us fuel during the show anyway, just gotta duck away from my supervisors i gues...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

All great, but the last one with the burners is kind of amazing.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
