Hey Guys,
I'll be in L.A. from April 7th to the 11th. I wanted to take some time out and spot at LAX, but I had a question for those who have spotted there before. What time was better to spot, Arrivals in the morning at In-N-Out, or afternoon departures from Imperial Hill? Any info would be appreciated!

I'd recommend checking local pages - but in November anyways, In & Out was awful backlit all day - whereas Imperial Hill was golden all day. I imagine that has changed a bit by now...

The Hill would be your best bet but from March to June the sun isn't all that great, its very high. INN-N-OUT will be a very late afternoon spot...about 5 PM to sunset, anything sooner the pictures will be backlit. If you want to shoot arrivals on that side of the field there's a Burger King where you can park and shoot from the sidewalk.

Thanks guys, that was really helpful. I'm probably going to go as soon as I get off my flight (BWI-MDW-LAX on WN) which lands around 11.
