    Great stuff, Fred! That "water takeoff" looks like it's either a Grumman S-2 or C-1, not surprised that something out of the Iron Works could do that! The shuttle landing looks "interesting". Looks like it was probably Enterprise on one of the 747-drop tests (it has an instrument boom on the nose) but I'm amazed at all the people hanging out along the runway.

    Moose, yes,t hat was a landing test on the Enterprise from a drop...good call. I saw a slow-mo of that landing and you can see each revolution of the tires and you just think that the thing is not going to ever land. Thank God for desert!

    The water t/o was really wild. It looked at the end like he made it, right?

    Derf, how about an explanation of the paint test!! Looks interesting.
