    CDG Spotting Spring 2008

In Spring 2008 I decided to treat myself to a long weekend in Paris. Here are some pics of liveries and airlines many of you "over there" may not get a chance to see. I apologize if quality may not be up to forum standards but all I have is a basic Olympus digital cam and to consider myself even an amateur photographer is pushing it. Anyway enjoy....

Trip started with a short flight on a Germanwings A319 from CGN-CDG.

A few shots while taxing to T1

    Air Gabon B767

    Inside renovated T1

During my walks through Paris I noticed the number of airline ticket offices which were still around. I thought they were all extinct by now. Those were the good ol' days....

Just after taking this photo a guy come out of the office yelling and screaming for me to stop taking pictures

Delta's office is also here. I think they're the only US airline left with an office in downtown Paris

Aeroflot's office is on the Champs Elysee...very $$$$$$$$ location....

No problem getting a picture here...

The airline no longer exists but their office is still there....

Then I did some spotting at CDG.....

A B757 from the Cap Verde Islands

Took advantage of the opportunity to add to my collection of inflight magazines.

Another rarity nowadays....a printed time table

    Hope you enjoyed.

Good stuff, thanks for sharing. I'd never seen that Gulf Air scheme before...quite stunning.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
