Just saw this on anet starting 6/1
UX 91 MAD-JFK 0315pm 0525pm daily - 332
UX 92 JFK-MAD 0725pm 0830am daily - 332
On this note what the hell does UX mean? 2 letter codes are so stupid and worthless IMO.

Just read that over on a.net, should be early enough to catch it in good light over the summer. And I guess all the good 2 letter codes are taken, so they end up with something silly like UX.

Also, LTU will be resuming DUS-JFK for Summer 2009.
I'm very surprised about this. No other Spanish airline besides Iberia has been successful in the US, including Air Europa. However Air Europa offers a MUCH better product on their A330 and is generally a lot more cheaper then Iberia. Air Europa also has a very strong domestic network in Spain which will help.
I can say that Air Europa will certainly be my first choice to Madrid if they can keep flights going!
Thats great news to hear. Nice to see that we are gonna have another spanish airline here at JFK. Also good to see that AirBerlin(LTU) is also coming back. Now I wish that Air Comet would come back.

Chances are Air Europa will set a good number of seats aside on these flights for Spanish tour companies which means we probably won't be getting Air Comet/Pullmantur Air again this summer.
According to http://airlineroute.blogspot.com/ , Air Europa has changed their timing for the JFK flights:
