any artists out there?

I've started to get pretty tired with taking photos of airplanes in their wholesome state, be it flying or otherwise. Has anyone done any work with finding some of the "finer points" of an aircraft? Perhaps just a single abstract portion of the aircraft that gives a feel for aviation or the particular aircraft? A penny for your thoughts...

Good topic, Mike. I always tell people to go beyond the typical spotter shots to keep from getting burned out. That's one of the reasons I try to shoot a wide variety of subjects.
