    8/20 Atlantic City Airshow

Went to the Atlantic City Airshow today, suprise of the day was by far the 4 ship Raptor flybye which was not on the schedule. They made a few passes but I still have yet to see the demo which I hear is is incredible. Everything is great about this show.... well minus the lighting conditions. But you can't beat a day off of work watching an airshow at the beach(especially with all of the gorgeous woman in bikinis).

Wish the lighting was better for this one, FAA DC3

I always enjoy the Super Hornet demo

nice shots bill. you're right about it being a great thing to do on a day off, but why would an airshow be schedules on a wednesday? was it just a practice session? anyway, me likes the MH-60!!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Bill, I'm suprised you had somewhat decent lighting. I went over two years ago and was very disappointed with the lighting because I did not know the show was on a East to West beach.

I don't think that was us in the Demo. The #'s on the nose of the -60 looks like 682. I forgot all about this show, I guess I need to go on ASB more often.

Yea the light is still very tuff. This year though a few of the performers came in from the west at show center and in the afternoon that worked out really well because I was south of show center. Examples are the F18 and H-46. Its too bad the show doesn't start later in the day, but its still a nice trip regardless.
