I had a chance to visit Canada with my family last month, and when arriving to downtown Toronto for the first time, i couldn't believe my eyes - i saw small props landing parallel to the shoreline. So i went on to "investigate" and found out that there was a small airport called, Toronto Island Airport of which i've never heard before :D. Then i dragged my parents on to some crappy little boat tour (which was a complete waste of money btw, since a 10 minute ride included nothing but the exhibition of a shoreline with some trees in it  ). Most of the airplanes that i saw landing there were private cessnas, but i also got to see a couple of Porter's Dash 8s which I'm guessing is the biggest airplane that is allowed to land there. Overall it's a very lovely airport :borat:, even though you'll never see a 'heavy' land there. The only regret i have about that day was the fact that i didn't have my 300mm with me, and shot everything with 200mm which was simply not enough. Oh, and of course the hazy gray skies which seem to be a problem even in a much cooler Toronto...
