    AMS 5/6/08 (Many Photos)

Hello All, I just returned from vacation. Here are some shots from my first day at Schiphol. Moved around to a few different spots during the day. I will post shots from day two when I get around to editing them. Overall, I really loved being out there, as the weather was great! Also, met a few spotters that were quite friendly and helpful. Great shots. Interesting to see NW 747-200 -- thought all NW 747-200 have been retired. I suppose it's on a chart flight?

sweet shots! what runways were they using that day? the shots with the twr in the background look like aircraft were approaching 6.

The whole time I was in Amsterdam the winds were coming from the east and they used runway 6 for arrivals the whole week.

I also have Jade on my "to get" list. I saw it during my last day at AMS but I was in a wrong place for pictures.
Good catch on Dragon Air Cargo. Also I wouldn't mind getting it :)
