Saudi Arabian Airlines Royal Flight C-130 visits IAD 4/12/08

    Greetings,
A Saudi Royal flight C-130 (L382) at IAD this afternoon. It was seeing here departing runway 30 at Dulles. When aircraft depart runway 30 its a crap-shoot based on when they start turning. Its very hard to put yourself in the right spot for this approach. This aircraft good chance of being in my top 5 shots for 2008.
It was nice to meet up with Rafal and Blendi and several other Balt-Wash spotters as usual. How many more grey hairs can you count on your head now Rafal :)

very nice!! lovely colors on a lovely airplane. what do they use the airplane for anyway? is it a limo transport?
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Word on the street is that they are hauling spare parts for 747SP which is stuck at LAX. I dont know how accurate this is since this Herc is listed as in VIP configuration.
