A spotter from Germany (who I spotted with at JFK in December) is coming to NYC this weekend for some spotting with a friend. Weather permitting, I'll be meeting them for some JFK spotting on Friday. They will be here until Tuesday, and want to spend a day at EWR. Since I haven't spotted there, can anyone offer any ideas on good (and safe?) areas for spotting? They will have a car, so getting around isn't an issue.

I found that in the afternoon (especially on a Friday/weekend), the Ikea lot is full. So I try to find two big SUVs to park between and just get out to take a shot. You need to get out of the car because the fence would be in the way. The only snag is the light kinda sucks.
