Phil that is one sweet video. I am reminded of your anecdotes of jumpseat flights with a/c coming at you and know this is what you must have felt and seen.
Also with the many images of foreign places and troops, you could probably rename this video "Derner's 2007 Yearbook".

that is a pretty cool video! i love the air-to-air with the 747! videos like this always make me wonder if i'm in the wrong line of work...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
Honestly, that air-to-air clip is exactly what I witnessed and experienced myself....almost the same exact position, but with an AF A340.
World is a good company to work for, and they also do some very interesting stuff. I'd even say that their cargo ops create the need for them to go to more exotic places than NAA.
